Who is eligible to join PAFRA?
(You must meet one of the following criteria to join PAFRA)
-Active Duty military members and their dependents from all branches of service.
-Retirees and their dependents who have a valid military ID card.
-National Guard and Reservist who have a valid military ID card.
-DOD civilians who have a valid DOD ID card.
-Any prior service member who was honorably discharged and can provide their DD 214 are also eligible to join along with their family members.

2012 FEE SCHEDULE
-Individual Competitor Membership - $100.00
This membership includes competition in one event and a subscription to Rodeo News, the new bi-monthly PAFRA newsletter.
-Sponsored Competitor Membership - $115.00
PAFRA now offers members to sponsor competitors who are otherwise "non-eligible" members. Contact us for questions! This membership includes competition in one event and a subscription to Rodeo News, the new bi-monthly PAFRA newsletter.
-Family Competitors Membership - $135.00
Family Membership permits Husband and Wife to both compete as well as any dependent of the ID card holder. This membership includes competition in one event for each member as stated above) subscription to Rodeo News, the new bi-monthly PAFRA newsletter. (FOR COMPETITORS WHO COMPETE IN MORE THAN ONE EVENT
-Associate Membership - $55
An Associate Membership is for a non-competing member. It entitles the holder to vote, run for office, and conduct business for PAFRA, ie. rodeo hand, rodeo secretary, and duties of this nature. This membership includes a subscription to Rodeo News, the new bi-monthly PAFRA newsletter.
-Event Fee- $20 per Each Additional Event
(Every Member Competing in a 2nd or more event(s), must also pay an Event Fee per additional event to cover the stock charge at the Finals. The stock fee is $20 per additional event that you compete in. For Team Ropers, that is $20 for each end you rope.)
Any PAFRA member who qualifies can send their VFW application and check to Carlos Sustaita, Texas VFW, P.O. Box 14468, Austin, TX 78761. Be sure it is marked Texas "Member At Large" where it ask for Post #. Any VFW member in good standing can recruit new members. Texas VFW encourages everyone to help in recruiting as it will benefit PAFRA as well.
